lucy 3 months

lucy hit three months and continues to be a delightful addition to our family. no doctor appointment this month so no official stats but she seems to be growing nicely.new accomplishments this month include lots of cooing and talking. she has perfected the sad pouty lower lip. she also loves to have anyone interact with her and will give you a big open mouthed smile.the one downfall of the past month has been a sleep regression. she excels at naps but is now starting to wake multiple times a night.we will keep her for now but do hope more sleep is in our future!

new years in arizona

for the new years holiday we made our way to arizona to spend a week with the entire forrest family. we did lots of activities the only one i took pictures of was our outing to the phoenix zoo. the highlight was feeding the giraffes!

kiley and daniel were kind enough to take william to get close to the giraffes even though he wasn't interested in feeding them. 

we were also able to get close to the monkey's.

we loved being able to play with all the cousins everyday. william is just beginning to be able to keep up with the older ones.

other favorite activities included bike rides, playing in the park, rookie dog, and swimming in the hot tub.
